After completing graduate school at the University of South Carolina with a dual law-MBA degree, Sammy Small, Jr. joined First Palmetto as General Counsel. His role has expanded over time to include Chief Operating Officer, and he has served as the Bank’s President for the past eight years.
He was drawn to banking because it is one of the few environments where challenges are presented each day to learn new things and develop practical solutions that will positively impact the lives of others.
Outside the office, he enjoys spending time at the lake with family and cheering for the Gamecocks.
