Not many know that modern day town of Camden, SC was previously divided into different quarters, almost as if they were their own towns. One of those quarters, named Log Town, was literally bounded by Boundary Street. Boundary Street later became Chesnut Street, named for a famous local family most well known through the Civil War diaries of Mary Boykin Chesnut. The Dusty Bend area of Camden now sits just north of old Logtown with it's beautiful antebellum homes and historical sites. Our branch is found where Lyttleton Street diverges from Broad Street.
