Bobby's banking career began in 1990 with C&S Bank in Charleston. He has had various jobs throughout the past 32 years—branch manager, business banker, commercial banker, credit officer, and chief community banker. For most of his career, he has worked in the Charleston area.
After working with C&S Bank/NationsBank, he worked at SouthTrust Bank and helped to start Tidelands Bank. His banking philosophy is to build relationships with clients so he can understand their business and help them to accomplish their goals.
Bobby has a finance degree from the University of South Carolina and graduated from Leadership Charleston, along with the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He lives in Mt. Pleasant with his wife, Kim, and his four children.
